I want to let you know about a wonderful baseball book called "Playing With the Enemy" by Gary W. Moore. It is a true story about a young catcher who misses his chance to be in the big leagues because of WWII. This is a poignant story told by the son of this player turned soldier who missed out on being a major league baseball player.
